About
Tidal is a small infrastructure team that believes a URL should mean exactly one thing, forever.
Why Tidal
Frontend teams spend too much time purging caches and chasing stale bundles. Tidal removes the problem at the root: releases are immutable, paths are versioned and edges can cache for a year without risk.
Principles
- Immutable. A published version is never modified or deleted silently.
- Verifiable. Every file has a public SHA-384 digest you can pin.
- Private. We do not set cookies and keep request logs for 7 days, for abuse and capacity work only.
- Boring. Standard HTTP caching, no proprietary loaders or runtime snippets.
Versioning policy
Semver ranges are never resolved on the fly. Use an exact version in production and an alias only where a short TTL is acceptable. If a release must be withdrawn for legal or security reasons, its path returns 410 Gone and the digest remains listed.
